Svinefluu and new technology are partners

For many months now I have been working with a number of clients trying to tell them that new collaboration technology is the answer to a number of challenges related to sharing knowledge. I have met so many stupid arguments for why not sharing information. One old senior VP told me his people did not want to work like this. Another younger VP told be that he was afraid of loosing control of his team, so he need visual control. When I replyd he could have that on web-cameras, he just laughed. We have also tried to sell this in the green way, saving on travels and commuting time, but in most cases we have walked out of the door dissapointed.



But now, with the svine-fluu flying around the world, our hopes have again come up. Sitting in my bed writing this, and having meeting on my collaboration 2.0 solution is a good deal for me, my company and my family. So for us loving tehcnoloyg, the fluu might be the dooropener to change, since the cost of not doing it is greater than trying it.

When the going gets tough, tough women gets toughing

The world is changing as we speak. Some tend to clame that we women will save it, but right now I am frigthened. I see a number of us not understanding the game. We need to follow the money and cling to them. There is nothing like closeness to the money in times like this.
